Classes.

At The MMA Farm, our classes are organized around Grappling and Striking rather than traditional labels like Jiu-Jitsu or Kickboxing. While our curriculum draws heavily on these martial arts, what we teach is a broader, more complete system built specifically for realistic combat and MMA competition.

Grappling Classes (No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu & Wrestling).

The Style: Our no-gi grappling classes go beyond Sport BJJ's point-scoring focus. We combine elite ground techniques, heavy top pressure, wrestling takedowns, and fight-proven positioning designed to control and finish opponents, not just score points.Class Structure: Every grappling session begins with a warm-up of essential fundamental movements or light flow rounds, followed by detailed technical instruction. Classes finish with live rolling rounds so you can test your skills in a safe, controlled environment.

Striking Classes (Boxing, Kickboxing & Muay Thai).

The Style: Our striking program is a hybrid system drawing from Kickboxing, Boxing, and Muay Thai, fully adapted for real fight scenarios. Training focuses on practical self-defense, fluid footwork, high-level defense, and offensive counter-striking.Class Structure: Sessions open with footwork and movement drills, then move into technical instruction covering entries, blocking, counter-striking, and finding openings. The final 15 minutes are reserved for light, controlled sparring. It's optional but highly recommended, and coaches guide you through specific goals and strategies to practice.Recommended Gear: 16 oz boxing gloves, shin guards, groin protection (for men), and a mouthguard.New to striking? You don't need gear to try your first class.

MMA Classes (Full-Contact Training).

The Style: Our MMA classes blend striking, wrestling, and ground fighting into one seamless system.MMA Wrestling covers takedown entries, chain wrestling, and takedown defense adapted specifically for MMA. Striking with Takedowns focuses on using strikes to set up takedowns and defend against incoming shots. Ground & Pound covers striking from both top and bottom positions on the mat, including how to inflict damage, defend against strikes, and use ground strikes to create openings for submissions.Class Structure: MMA classes begin with a specialized warm-up tailored to the day's focus, followed by technical drilling and scenario-based live rounds.Required Gear: MMA sparring gloves, mouthguard, shin guards, and groin protection (for men).
